Heritage is that which is given to you by birth; a possession, an identity. It is the struggle of the past, a promise of the future, and the potential of now. I carry these pieces of my culture, my religion, my family, my home everywhere I go. It is embedded in who I am. And it is in who I present to the world.
So why wouldn’t that crucial element of self materialize in style?
I love what I do, especially when I get the opportunity to work with the most creative and inspiration individuals all over the world. First, I must thank Christina Williams of Beauty on the Go for working absolute magic on my face and setting up this concept. Next I would like to thank Jonathan Dawson from Dawson Photography for capturing the warmth. And of course, I am always grateful for Amber and Shaima for the stunning Urbanite neckpiece.
