October is my absolute fav month (not just because it’s my birthday month) because the weather in Dallas is divine, and of course Halloween, aka the best holiday ever. Twenty four brought upon a little bit of wisdom, the harsh realization that I have so much left to accomplish, and the reassurance that my blessings always outweigh my misfortunes. My mantra for my mid-twenties? No need to slow down now, it only gets better!
Here’s a look at this year’s birthday steez:
This birthday suit consisted of Forever 21 destroyed boyfriend jeans (such a steal), Nordstrom chiffon cream top, and a WAYF army green maxi kimono. Paired with camel brown accessories, such as a Marc Jacobs crossbody and brown Steve Madden ankle strap wedges, this look was effortless and kept up with a busy day of being pampered by my dearest.
This outfit consisted of a black Nordstrom tank, Rachel Roy black trousers, and my absolute fav thrifted gold jacket. I found this gaudy ass, metallic gold, Broadway jacket at Buffalo Exchange for $10. No, I’m not kidding, this jacket was a part of someone’s theatre costume. The peplum silhouette, dramatic shoulders and bizarre fabric was THE statement I needed for my birthday dinner. Fashinspiration is everywhere, my dears.
