I am always rummaging to find versatile jewelry that can keep up with my chaotic life. I need pieces I can wear with work scrubs, casual outfits, and traditional Indian clothes and I think I have finally found just what I need! Kaz Kouture is a local jewelry and accessories brand based right down the street from me in Plano. Three sisters, Ayesha, Javeria, and Sarah Kazmi, (hence the Kaz in Kaz Kouture) whom I have gotten to know both personally and professionally, began the brand last summer inspired by their trips to the Middle East & Europe. Kaz Kouture is completely unique, embodying a bit of Eastern elegance, with Western flair. The sisters work with many international designers and distributors bringing fabulous pieces from all over, adding a bit of their own touch to the designs. And believe me, these ladies know fashion.
I personally die over their amazing Turkish stone jewelry, Arabic calligraphy rings and clutches, and delicate pendant chains.
They have recently started keeping ornate shawls and headpieces. I cannot even tell you how gorgeous the detail is on these shawls. So classy. I am excited for the brand to start their personalized jewelry, which should be happening soon. In the coming months we can expect great things from this local, woman-run, family operated business.
